SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant Required to Join Our Wonderful Team

We are seeking a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful team.

This role is specifically to provide individual support for a named child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Working under the guidance of the Class Teacher, SENDCo and senior staff, you will support the child’s learning, development, communication and wellbeing, helping them to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

The successful candidate will implement agreed learning and support programmes both within and outside the classroom, adapting activities as required to meet the child's individual needs. This may include supporting speech, language and communication needs, social and emotional development, behaviour for learning, and other special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

As a SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide safe, high-quality education and care for the child in line with relevant national regulations, guidance and the objectives outlined within their EHCP.
